Was born in Guyana and from a very early age had displayed tendencies to be artistic and creative.

Showing off this ability it lead him to experiment in drawing portraits, painting on canvases and leather crafting, but as he recalls that “by accident,” in the sojourn of his search for perfecting those skills he had stumbled on gold and silver jewellery making.

During this period and having traveled throughout the South American continent his immediate liking to this particular art form along with the different cultural experiences, immediately appeased his thirst for wanting to learn more and so settled down in his “new found love.” The formulation in his mind of eagerness and dedication to pursue a career in jewellery making and more so the development in a more profound way is truly an expression of his creativity.

Throughout the almost 40 years of his advancement in this medium and with the help of his mentor, German renowned gold and silversmith, Rudolf Heltzel, who he attributes to having significantly influenced his path towards perfecting his craft, was realized in no uncertain way.

Thus, his contemporary application to this art form has manifested itself into the infusion of this own skill, ideas, practices and principles of the trade manifesting itself in a relatively distinct aspect of his jewellery.
